Tour Itinerary:
Day 1:
Upon your arrival at Istanbul Airport, you will be greeted and transported to your hotel. Once you have completed your check-in process, you will have the remainder of the day to explore at your leisure. You will spend the night at your hotel in Istanbul.
Day 2:
Embark on a morning tour to witness the most iconic sights of Istanbul. The tour commences with a visit to the Blue Mosque, an awe-inspiring mosque designed by Sinan and completed in 1616. This masterpiece is renowned for its majesty and exceptional iznik ceramic tiling. The tour then proceeds outside to explore the Hippodrome, an expansive public space constructed by the Romans in the 3rd and 4th centuries AD to accommodate chariot races and gladiator fights. The Hippodrome is also home to the Column of Constantine, an Egyptian obelisk and the Serpentine Column. Adjacent to the Hippodrome lies the Hagia Sophia, an exquisite building originally built in 537 AD as a Greek Orthodox church. Converted into a mosque by the Ottomans, it is now a museum, boasting two floors built around a central nave and adorned with magnificent decorations and an enormous dome that soars overhead. The morning concludes with a stroll through the Grand Bazaar, where visitors can indulge in some shopping or simply absorb the sights, sounds and historic architectural beauty of this bustling market.
For those interested in visiting the famous Topkapi Palace, a tour is available to skip the long queues that often form at this historically significant site. Built in the 15th century, the walled complex comprises the palace and its buildings, which dominate a small raised peninsula surrounded by beautiful grounds that sweep down to the sea. Once the political center of the highly influential Ottoman Empire, the palace is now purely a museum. Visitors can explore the various courtyards, the Treasury, numerous pavilions, holy relics, weapons and the Harem, and get a glimpse of the greatness that once was.
A lesser-known part of the Hagia Sophia complex is the adjacent structure that houses the Sultan Tombs. Here, five Ottoman sultans from the 16th and 17th centuries are interred alongside their wives, children and other notables. The tombs are beautifully designed, featuring stunning examples of tile work, mosaics, calligraphy and kundekari (a decorative form of carpentry consisting of interlocking pieces of wood and mother of pearl).
Or,
This tour will also take you to the Little Hagia Sophia Mosque, located near Topkapi Palace. Originally constructed in the 6th century as a Greek Orthodox Church, it was later converted into a mosque in the early 16th century. Despite its small size, this octagonal mosque boasts a beautiful two-storeyed colonnade, marble pillars, and a stunning umbrella dome.
In the evening, you will be transferred to Istanbul Airport for a flight to Kayseri/Nevsehir. Upon arrival, you will be transported to your hotel in Cappadocia, where you will check-in and spend the night.
Day 3:
Cappadocia is renowned for its breathtaking conical rock formations, also known as fairy chimneys, as well as its vibrant landscapes and ancient dwellings carved into the rocks. This tour will take you on a journey through the stunning Devrent (Imagination) Valley, where towering fairy chimneys dominate the landscape, before continuing on to nearby Pasabag (Monk Valley), where the fairy chimneys are adorned with unique double and triple-headed caps.
After enjoying lunch at Avanos, you will have the opportunity to explore the Goreme open-air museum, which features stunning churches and frescoes dating back to the 10th and 12th centuries. The day will conclude with a visit to Uchisar Castle, a fortress carved out of a large, tall fairy chimney.
Or,
Join us for a full-day Hiking and Underground City Tour, with pick up at 09:30 and drop off at 16:00.

The final stop is Ortahisar Castle, the largest fairy chimney in all of Cappadocia.
After the tour, there will be an overnight bus ride to Pamukkale.
Day 4:
Upon arrival in Pamukkale, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for a few hours of relaxation. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on the tour.
The tour will begin in the village of Karahayit where you will see the red, green, and white travertines, as well as the thermal pools with red water, caused by the high iron content. Next, you will visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, founded in the 2nd century BC to take advantage of the thermal pools in the area.
Perched on a hill, Hierapolis boasts a vast necropolis, baths, a theater, temples, an agora, and an antique pool. You will have some free time to explore the site before descending the hill on the sparkling white travertine and stopping for lunch at a local restaurant.
