The Sajek valley is renowned for its awe-inspiring natural beauty. The valley is surrounded by mountains, grasslands, and challenging trails, which create a striking backdrop. Several smaller rivers flow through the highlands, including the famous Kachalong and Machalong. To reach the valley, one must overcome obstacles like the Mayni range and Mayni river. The journey involves steep ascents and descents.
The native inhabitants of Sajek valley are considered an ethnic minority group. They speak various languages, including Chakma, Marma, Tripura, Pankua, and Sagma. Women appear to be increasingly involved in economic activities, particularly in customer-facing roles such as tea stalls, food establishments, and roadside markets. The locals are generally kind, hospitable, and friendly.
The early morning harvesting of fruits and vegetables is a vital economic activity in the area. While the locals may not be proficient in Bengali, the younger generation speaks English with confidence.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 01:
Embark on a scenic tour starting at Rangamati Shilpakala Boat Ghat. Begin the day with a delicious breakfast at a local restaurant in Rangamati town, before being picked up by our knowledgeable guide who will accompany you to the boat ghat.
Travel by Chander Gari or 4x4 land cruiser to reach Sajek Valley, which will take around half an hour to arrive at Bhagaichori. From there, an Army escort will guide the vehicle to Sajek Valley, which will take approximately 2 hours to reach the final destination.
Upon arrival, check-in at the resort and take in the breathtaking views of the mesmerizing sunset from the Helipad of Sajek. The view from the helipad is truly unique and amazing.
In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner of Chicken BBQ, Paratha, and Soft drinks. Spend the night at the resort in a shared room.
Day 02:
Experience the serene beauty of the early morning and explore Konglok Para, the highest point of Sajek Valley. There is a small village located at the top of Konglok Para where you can witness the tribal lifestyle. Enjoy a delicious breakfast of Khichuri and Egg.
Afterward, journey towards Khagrachori and arrive at the town for lunch, which will be served with a standard Bengali menu. Visit the Alutila cave and Risang waterfall, where the Alutila cave expedition with a fire torch will transport you back to the old stone age.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in Khagrachori town before concluding the trip in Rangamati town.

Cancellation Policy:
To cancel a tour, please send an email to hi.travelbd@gmail.com with the tour booking ID and details of the cancellation. The time of sending the email will be considered as the time of cancellation. The email will be considered as the final application for cancellation. Please note that a phone call to the Travel Bangladesh hotline number or any other team member of Travel Bangladesh will not be considered as a request for cancellation.
Refund Policy:
The following refund policy applies to bookings that are canceled:
-Full refund if the booking is canceled at least seven (7-15) days prior to the start of the experiences/tours.
-Eighty percent (80%) refund if the booking is canceled five (5-7) days prior to the start of the experience/tour.
-Fifty percent (50%) refund if the booking is canceled one to three (3) days prior to the start of the experience/tour.
-No refund will be provided if the booking is canceled less than fourty-eight (48) hours prior to the start of the experience/tour.
Please note that all refunds, if applicable, will be processed within seven (7) working days.
